On a sheltered ridge, at a beautiful farm in Southern Alberta
Greg & Deanne promised to love each other forever…
as family & friends snuggled together,
surrounding this amazing couple with so much love ❤
Darling little Romy ‘walked’ with Daddy down to the ridge,
and waved so sweetly as Mama came down the
pathway to join them, smiling all the way…
Their vows were spoken, and rings exchanged,
and then they took part in a traditional handfasting ceremony.

Hands that will passionately love
and cherish through the years…
Hands that will countless times wipe the tears:
tears of sorrow & tears of joy.
Hands that will comfort in illness,
and hold you when fear or grief racks your mind.
Hands that will hold tight as you struggle through difficult times.
These are the hands that will give support
and encourage you to chase your dreams.
After champagne toasts, baby snuggles & lots of pictures…
We made our way through the mercantile at the Saskatoon Farm,
and into this beautiful greenhouse for a
warmer location to get shots of this sweet little family.
Romy did great during her part, although I suspect she was more
interested in her raisins than looking at the camera… haha.
and now we come to my favourite part…
the bridal portraits ❤
Deanne was sooooo gorgeous,
and I could have taken pictures of her all afternoon,
her light & dreamy dress by ❤ Rue De Seine,
AND her vibrantly unique bouquet (with a real artichoke!) by Willow Park Florist.
honestly, I thought that bridal portraits were my favourite part…
but once we started exploring the farm, and
we found the amazing gateways, brilliant red leaved trees, and
row upon row of saskatoon berry shrubs…
I realized that it was the bride & groom together
who were truly inspiring…
in spite of the cold, these newlyweds only had eyes for each other ❤
